Small RV Camper Rental in San Antonio Texas

Your experience and safety was taken into mind when choosing our fleet.  Not only is a smaller RV easier to tow, but is also easier to park.  The smaller RV camper trailer is lighter and can be towed safely by most cars, SUV, and trucks.  Our trailer is packed with features and is functional.

Frequently asked questions

Explore the FAQs to ensure you're well-prepared to embark on your stroller journey with us.

  • We rent a 17 foot bunk house RV trailer.  This trailer is 3700 pounds in weight and is towable by most vehicles.  We will help insure you can tow this safely and provide a sway hitch at no additional charge.  This RV can sleep 5-6 people.  There is a queen bed, two bunks, and a table that folds down into another bed.

  • Damage protection is vital for the safety of your rental and your family during your RVing trip. You’ll want to know that we offer RV Rental Comprehensive Insurance at $23 a night.  This insurance has a $1,000 deductible and covers the entire RV from any damage.  We also provide Roadside Assistance at no additional charge.

  • All renters must be 25 years of age or older.

  • This deposit will usually range from $500 to $1,000, sometimes higher, depending on the length of the RV rental. The deposit you make is equal to the RV owner’s damage waiver fee.

Your money is returned by us immediately upon return of the rental.  Banks may release the funds to you from immediately to seven days after you return the RV.

  • We review each rental of our RV on a case by case basis.  If the animal is approved, an additional deposit may be required to satisfy the insurance deductible.  An additional cleaning fee of $149 is required to clean the RV for the next guest.

  • Coverages are invalid if problems occur in the following areas and all recovery expenses are at the renter’s own cost. Violations of these restrictions void damage waivers and the renter will be held liable for all vehicle damages including to tires, towing charges and other related expenses as a result of a breakdown associated with operating in these areas.  A good indication you should not take a RV somewhere is when you have to ask.  RV towing fees and repairs are costly.

ALASKA, YUKON AND NORTHWEST TERRITORIES, & NEWFOUNDLAND

Travel on all public and/or numbered roads is permitted. Travel on non-public roads, unpaved back roads, trails and the like – commonly called logging roads or on any surface subjecting the trailer to unreasonable damage or road hazard is prohibited. We reserve the right to restrict travel, dependent on current road conditions.

    DEATH VALLEY

Vehicles may be operated with EXTREME CARE in Death Valley and other desert areas during the months of July and August. In Summer, renters visit these areas at their own risk and we will not be held responsible for extraordinary vehicle recovery and other charges. During certain periods these areas are not habitable and could pose a danger to the driver and passengers.

    BURNING MAN

We do not allow our rentals to attend any Burning Man events.

  • Vehicle departure time is normally between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Vehicle drop off time is normally between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM only. Returns after 11:00 am may be subject to a late return fee of $25 per hour.

We also offer delivery/pickup for an additional fee.

  • We provide a thorough cleaning of the unit before and after the rental.  We charge a $149 cleaning fee to sanitize the RV.  We ask that you return the RV with the trash removed, and the tanks empty.  We handle the rest.  If you would like us to empty the tanks, we can handle that for an additional fee.

  • Our trailer is able to visit all RV Campgrounds.  We frequently rent to families going to Jellystone in Canyon Lake or Kerrville Texas.  You can take the camper anywhere in the US.  Let us know where you are going, and we can offer suggestions for campgrounds.

  • Yes!  We offer generator rental to power your RV Rental.  We provide the generator and a gas container to take with you for easy refills.

Want to use your own generator?  No problem.  Reach out to us if you have questions about what generator will be appropriate.

  • If this is your first time RVing or renting an RV, one of the essential things you want to know is how the toilet works on the RV. RV toilets work like your home toilet - with water pressure — this means after you do your business and flush, water pressure pushes the waste down to a series of pipes. In an RV toilet, gravity is your friend. Usually, there is water, but there is almost no water pressure as the waste goes down the toilet, through the pipe, and to the RV’s black water tank. Unlike your home toilet system, you’re responsible for disposing of the organic waste in your RV. Don’t worry. If you’re a first-time RVer, we will walk you through how to do it. You might consider having a pair of rubber gloves handy should you need them.

If you’re going to an RV campsite, there is usually a dump station right where you are parked. All you have to do is attach the hose to the holding tank train outlet and the other end to the dump hole and use your toilet as usual. However, don’t forget to unhook the hose when you leave - it could be a messy mistake!

Pro tip: If you are not in a campsite, and you need to rely on your black water tank, we provide a tank deodorizer because without it your RV toilet can smell.

  • Yes!  We provide a full tank of propane with each rental.  We will refill the propane at the current rate of propane upon return.  We will bill that amount to you when the RV is returned.  To avoid a propane refill fee, just take the tank to any propane refill station.  We can help you locate a refill location upon request.

  • RVs may enter Canada. One way rentals between the two countries are not allowed.

  • We do not allow travel into Mexico.

  • We will provide the hitch.  Please ensure you have a 2" receiver.  If you have a 2 1/2" heavy duty receiver (on some 250/2500 350/3500 trucks) you will need an adapter.
